Lighter weight than the very similar model it replaced, but still sturdy and reliable while being an excellent value. Also not too difficult to set up with wi-fi etc. Don't overlook Brother as a very solid printer brand.

The printer is quiet and fast. Duplex printing works very well and I am very satisfied with te purchase. One thing that buyers should be aware of is that all laser printers draw a large surge current at the onset of printing. This is to heat the toner, I think. Anyway, this can cause a momentary drop in voltage which can cause a problem with your computer if it is on the same circuit. This happened to me but the problem was solved with a UPS.

Great printer! I have had it for so long I can’t recall. No issues so it is very reliable. I do however suggest improving on the printer cartridges. They run out too fast and are too expensive!!! no
