I had a twenty year old HP laser printer. It worked fine. One day it quit, I couldn't fix or get it fixed. Bought this Brother and wondered why I didn't upgrade ten years ago. Double sided printing!

Very Good small B&W laser printer for network

I have had this little laser printer for 2 months, replacing a 10 year old HP 1000 that got fried in an electrical storm. It works well out of the box. Lately, I have experienced a problem with it not resetting from Landscape mode to Portrait mode in spite of multiple resets. However, it is fast and quiet, and is economical with toner. I like it.
