Does most of expected

Works well except for some minor issues.
— Manual feed tray won't pull paper straight and print is skewed. My replaced 2240 had the same issue.
— Won't do multiple prints of same document except from a PDF.
— When printer is unused, but on, for a long time it seems to go offline. NOTE: printer is cable connected, not Wi-Fi.
Beyond these, the printer is fine.

Just what I wanted

First I would like to say I am not a business owner. I just wanted a small laser printer. This one I love. It was easy to install. The automatic 2 sided feature gets used the most. It saves a lot of paper. Very pleased with the speed of this printer. The price point is excellent.

Prints only, no scan feature

Copier works perfectly for printing on paper or saving to a PDF file. That it all it good for. I wish i would have bought the model that actually scans documents. It's a pain in the butt to hook up my Neat scanner just to send signed documents.

90% of what I want in a printer

I'm a student so I print a lot of PDFs for class. This is an efficient, affordable printer in almost every way. I highly encourage you to buy this if you don't need any extra features. This is black and white, double sided, and that's all you need.
The one thing that I hate and that needs to be looked into, is that when the toner is registering as low, the printer STOPS printing until the toner is changed. There has been no noticeable lightening of the black, no streaking or anything so my assumption is that there is still a good amount of toner in the cartridge that I will be throwing away. This is a black and white printer, so the logic here escapes me. If this were a printer designed for sharp images and color then I might understand more, but I feel that the target audience for this printer doesn't mind a little bit of a lighter black for their documents.

This printer fits well in the printer drawer of my desk.
One feature that i miss is a copier. My last printer had that feature and it was great for things that were not generated for your computer.

This is a great little printer with plenty of punch for a B & W printer. Has all the features that one comes to expect of an home office printer. Does not have a scanner, but I was not looking for one.
