I found the printer easy to set up both direct connections and wireless. All works great except that I have been unable to load updates to its operating system. I found them online and downloaded them but getting the to the printer is another matter, Despite this it is performing well on my Apple devices.

Frustrated with ink issuesdue to lack of use!

After 25 years with using the in jet fiasco, I can finally just turn on the printer and get a "monochrome" perfect print without the BS of cleaning print heads and replacing ink cartridges. I have yet to connect it to other computers or devices with wifi, but intend to eventually.

Have several of these printers and they have given great results. I had a problem with one of them and the brother service department came through with flying colors. Couldn't have been easier or more satisfying. Highly recommend the both the product and the brand.

What I Needed

Needed a black and white printer for many articles I print when working on my genealogy, family tree, and other research. So far it as perform very well and was easy to set up. More time using it will tell me more. But for now a great printer.

I've bought a brother laser printers in 2006 and it's still working, but I wanted a wireless. This is fast and reliable.

Can get frisky when changing IP

B&W Laser Printer

This old-style printer is a good work horse, if rather slow. Now that I have tricked it into printing enveloped without having to ope the back, that is, to print like a regular sheet, I'm happier. Rather complicated to remind it to print on both sides if I change it
