Fast!

It is monochromatic but that’s all I need. I didn’t print in color very often. I wasn’t sure that I would like not having the option. It is fast. I had no problems connecting to the computer and also printing from the phone and IPad. I’m satisfied with this printer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Mine will no longer power on....< 3 months old

Hi - I was shocked that in under 3 months, mine will no longer power on. I did an internet search, and apparently this particular problem is very clearly described - offered 2 workarounds - neither worked - now I have to take my time to find and have it repaired....even if still under warranty, you don't expect a problem like this so soon with a new printer. Very disappointed.

Goes into deep sleep mode constantly and doesn't want to come back out. I have to power it off then on to wake it up.

Easy to setup and works Amazing. I use it exclusively for mobile printing (IPhone and IPad) and I couldn’t be happier.

A good basic black and white printer

I like the simplicity of this machine. Only thing I miss is it doesn't have a scanner. I chose this machine for a good functional, reasonably priced black and white printer. I didn't need it for color or general scanning. Brother printers were highly recommended to me by a person who has extensive knowledge about these items.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I constantly have to reconnect to network. I provided new Brother ink but the machine keeps giving me an error message that I need ink, etc

Simple, cheap way to save $$$ on monochrome prints

Near instant printing compared to an inkjet at a fraction of the cost per page. The add to it that the characters are SO MUCH sharper than an inkjet, and it make this printer a steal!! Two sides printing makes it better too!!

So much better than those little cartridges

Machine is reliable and does exactly what it's supposed to do: print. I did have a problem with setting up the wireless as the machine's interface is poor and instructions so so. In fact, I never did get the wireless working and have to use a cable.
I would recommend this to a friend!
