Fast 2 sided printing

This is a replacement for a much older model Brother printer that developed a paper feed issue after many years of service. This model, of similar size and appearance, is faster and provides 2 sided printing on windows 10. End results are clear, clean and sharp 2 sided copies reproduced exactly as formatted. I also like the idea that Brother continues to support this printer with firmware updates. I would have given this printer a 5 star rating if it would provide 2 sided printing using Windows 7. Despite multiple installs and settings configurations it refuses to print on both sides of a sheet of paper on my Windows 7 computer. I also would have liked an ethernet option.

Hardware and Software Meet My Requirements

I have been using impact and ink printers at home for 35 years. My current long term requirement is for fast, sharp, quiet, and inexpensive monochrome printing. Brother hardware and software meet my requirements using latest Windows 10 Home.

Compact size, great printing, fast, easy to use

This was a replacement for the 2270 which died after years of use. No sense fixing, as this new model was more than affordable. It is small enough to fit inside my desk unit and does a great job of fast printing with good dark print.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It was easy to set up with your driver. Good crisp clear prints every time.It is a good printer fore me. I believe others will feel the same. This is my second Brothers laser printer.
