A dependable workhorse for a home computer system.

The HL-L2350DW is an excellent workhorse for a home computer system. This recent purchase was to replace an identical unit I've been using for some years without issue. Unfortunately, the previous printer's electronics was damaged by a power outage and surge. I was very relieved to fine that it is still available. I guess "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" applies to this model.
I have 5 working computers using various operating systems in my home. All have wireless access to this printer. It is extremely reliable and spits out pages expediantly. My wife prints recipes almost non-stop. This is why I consider this printer a workhorse. It's size is perfect for the location where installed.
The only thing that could be improved is the ability to initially wirelessly connect the printer to my network via a desktop computer. The printer is recognized but would not connect. I had to connect to the network via the printer front panel. This was only a minor inconvenience for me but I can see it as being mind boggling for others.

Doesn’t scan!

Disappointed but can’t scan on the machine and thought it would have scan capability.

Strike one...made in China!! Strike 2...had to watch a youtube video to get the wireless to work as the directions leave stuff out...IMPORTANT STUFF.

Your machines are workhorses but we all know that the drum will burn out in a year or two and it will cost more for a drum replacement than the cost of a new printer. Not very ecologically friendly and makes me not think much of your company.

I'm happy with the way my printer works but am sorry it doesn't include a copier.
However, for a basic, black and white printer, it works well.
