Issue with Momentum 4

The headphones are great, but I do have one massive issue. In transparency mode the background noise actually becomes LOUDER. This is quite a glaringly bad feature and I would like a way to totally disable transparency mode. I have a vent in my room that is nearly silent, however when I am in transparency mode it becomes SIGNIFICANTLY louder, and this is not the case when the headphones are off.

Best wireless headphones I've used. ANC is incredible and coupled with the battery life, this beats all other similarly priced products out of the water.
