OXO 9-cup coffee maker

Makes a great cup of coffee. The carafe keeps the coffee steaming hot for at least 3 hours. We love the style and simplicity of this coffee maker. Also like the fact that the water reservoir and coffee are separated.

Good not Great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a replacement for one that broke under warranty. We like the pot. Two negatives are the carafe does not keep the coffee hot for long enough and the “9 cup” amount is very misleading. It makes about three full mugs of coffee.

Still an excellent coffee maker

We had a previous version of the 9-cup coffee maker, and it was great, but this one has some improvements that make it even better. There is venting on the top over where the hot water goes into the basket, so this reduces condensation from accumulating on the top of the carafe. Why did we get rid of our old one? The base began to overheat, even when the coffee maker wasn't being used.
