Very good with one serious flaw

we are on our second 9-cup coffee maker and in general it works very well. It is easy to use and the single programmable dial/button works fine once you get used to it. The carafe is insulated and keeps coffee warm for about an hour. The digital counter that begins once coffee is made is a convenient feature. On the minus side, the reservoir doesn't completely empty when full (8-9 cup level) on the first try and we have to repeat the brewing process to get it to empty completely. This did not occur when the coffee maker was new but after several months - and its happened with both versions of the appliance we owned. We do have very hard water and that could be a contributing factor - but we do clean the coffee maker as directed and when the appliance signals it needs cleaning. So, overall works great but has a flaw.

The Best Coffee Maker I have ever owned

I bought my first OXO 9 cup in 2017. It quit working after almost 2 years. OXO sent me a new one, free of charge in 2019. I have been using it ever since without any issues. It makes the best coffee, by far, of any coffee maker I have ever owned. It heats to just the right temperature so that the flavor gets fully extracted. It tastes as good as a pour over. It is relatively quick and has worked great for 6 years without any issues. I am very picky about my coffee and OXO doesn't disappoint. My only complaint is that the carafe doesn't keep the coffee warm for very long.

I was so excited after doing so much research that I had chosen a great coffee maker. First thing I noticed is the coffee doesn't seem to be very hot which worsens as you add milk or cream of course. But the worst issue and reason I will be returning this product is it drips coffee after brewing has completed. Supposed to be a pause and pour feature which evidently doesn't really work. It drips even after brew cycle is completed and the freshness timer starts making a huge drip mess daily. Don't waste your money
