Strong plastic smell

coffee is not hot

The coffee is not hot when it is brewed and after 5-10 min in the carafe it is almost lukewarm. There is not a way to adjust the temp either. we are very unhappy. I have to warm my milk separately to have a piping hot cup of coffee.

After reading reviews and seeing it was top rated on wire cutter I was sort of hoping I’d like this better. I find it not intuitive to set the timer. Takes me several attempts and I’ve owned it a week. Wish the capacity was larger than 9 cups. Not quite enough for me and my husband. Like the sleek design though. Coffee comes out good and hot. Doesn’t leak and I like the thermal

Coffee tastes like plastic - very disappointing

This is a great coffee maker, but the execution is incredibly poor. A few parts of the machine are made out of plastic which absorbs an insane level of plastic taste. Impossible to make good coffee.

Makes good coffee but it’s HUGE. I thought I’d get used to its massiveness but it takes up SO much counter space and is inconvenient for daily use.

There is a distinct rubber smell from hoses that distribute water from the water tank and the one passing into the carafe. After two weeks of use I was hoping it would diminish, but not yet. Aroma impacts taste.

Makes much better coffee than my old one and it’s cute. Wouldn’t work in short under cabinet spaces but is great on top of my coffee bar.
