Can't handle a lot of

Can't handle a lot of fine-ground coffee. Stick with 2-4 cups.

Good Coffee Maker

I like this coffee pot. I don’t love it though. The biggest pro is that it’s programmable which is great. It doesn’t get the coffee as hot as I thought it would, but that may be because I generally only brew in the 2-4 cup range. One thing I don’t like at all is that the round top that screws into the carafe holds water in it. After washing water stays trapped in there. I shake it several times but you can still hear it in there. That could become a problem over time (mold, nasty tasting coffee).

Worth every penny

Coffee is my happy place and this is the only coffee maker that gives you a cafe coffee at home without any extra fuss or effort. If you love the convenience of drip coffee but are a bit of a coffee snob, this is the maker for you. This is the second one I’ve ordered so I can have equally great coffee at work and at home (we’ve had our home one for over 5 years, use at least once a day and it’s still running strong).

Makes great coffee with cone basket, 195-200 degree water, and a carafe that lets you leave the lid on during and after brew. Superior to most; only complaint is a strong rubber smell still coming off the tube inside the carafe. Not sure if it negatively flavors the coffee but it stinks so I removed it. Still brews fine without it

Brews a full pot in 8 minutes. Having the water reservoir completely separate from the filter area is a nice feature. Water pours in quickly with no mess or spillage. Also like that you can always see how much water is in there.
