Would have preferred a larger

Would have preferred a larger capacity, i.e., 12 cups. Also, OXO brand descaler is unreasonably expensive.

Finally a coffee maker that delivers flavor

After years of trying various coffee makers and always going back to a manual, single cup pour over brewer (which is in my opinion is still best for single cup brewing if you have the time), this brewer makes great coffee. I believe the key is the blossoming feature that activates the coffee and helps deliver a more flavorful pot of cup. the stainless carafe keeps the coffee pretty warm for a while. The design looks good and easy to use and clean.

Great user experience, fantastic coffee

I’ve had this maker for years, and like the coffee that it makes above any machine that I have used. I’ve only ever had one problem (with the control board) and OXO replaced it quickly. I would recommend this coffee maker to anyone.

Carafe is best

I love the fact that the coffee brews right into the sealed insulated carafe, and that I don’t have to remove the carafe and screw on a lid like my last coffeemaker.

5 star - I love my coffee maker! I saw the NYTimes Wirecutter review of best coffee makers and purchased it. This is the first coffee maker I ever had that I really like. I'm a happy camper!

Down not to deep, there is little difference among run of the mill coffeemakers save one. The OXO 9-cup coffee maker if the best engineered coffee maker on the market. Once you read the Owner’s manual, you will understand my statement completely.

Full flavor, full satisfaction

I am sooo pleased to finally get the full Cafe style flavor from my coffee maker at home. And, as an unexpected surprise, I find myself using about 15% less coffee to get it. This unit is the real deal.

Customer service was very good

Customer service was very good , replaced the first one that failed to stop flow when removing carafe before completely brewed. However even the replacement is finicky, drips and makes a mess sometimes unless super careful putting in the basket. I expected it to be much better for the price
