There’s rusty screws inside!

Brews great coffee but I was recently horrified to find two rusty metal screws under the “shower head” at the top of the brew basket. I am surprised by the choice to use metal screws in a spot that’s perpetually wet! I emailed o o about this, requesting replacement parts, but they’ve ghosted me. Not a great experience so far!

Based on wirecutter , we had high expectations.
Coffee is lukewarm, and tastes like plastic. Our cheap single cup makes better, do not believe the hype will be returning after one use.

I bought an OXO in the hopes of it lasting longer than your average walmart-bought coffee maker. I won't be making that mistake again. After 2 years the brewer is leaking clear where it should be brewing coffee. i won't splurge again

A decade of GREAT coffee!

Hubby blanched at cost but high praise in reviews from experts swayed him. This has been or daily coffee maker for 10 years and you can get replacement parts!!! It even tells you when to descale it! We have bought 2 new carafes as we drop stuff and the seals loosen so it does not keep coffee hot but this is way better than buying a whole new coffee maker!

Residual Water Reservoir Moisture After Coffee Making

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great- with the exception that the water reservoir after making coffee is all clouded up with moisture. This is my 3rd OXO coffeemaker (current one replaced defective one), and this did not happen with the previous coffee makers. My work around is to open lid to reservoir to eliminate any residual moisture.

Coffee tastes like chemicals

I have washed all the parts numerous times, and have ran water and coffee through it maybe 10 times. And it STILL smells and tastes like plastic chemicals. I will be returning it.
