OXO 9-cup Coffee Maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I could not be more pleased with this coffee maker. From the durable construction, to the functional simplicity, to the ease of cleaning all parts, I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great cup (or pot) of coffee. The rain head filter seems to really add a dimension to the flavor (it certainly does distribute water more evenly through the filter) and the sleek, clean lines of the design look great in the kitchen. Wonderful product!!

I switched from a Bonavita

I switched from a Bonavita coffee maker to the Oxo based on reviews and the price point, and the quality of the same coffee I was brewing with the other machine is significantly worse. The quality from the Oxo machine is similar to coffee I have had from significantly cheaper machines, which is incredibly disappointing.

Makes great coffee, but. . .

Makes great coffee, when it doesn't stop in the middle of the cycle. The machine. stops in the middle of the cycle 50% of the time, so I have to watch it every time I make coffee. Also the clock doesn't work, as it keeps flashing and going back to a different time, even though I have reset it several times.

Great working with Madge and OXO

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like my 9-cup coffee maker. It is brewing coffee right now! I had broken my first 9-cup, talked to Madge, sent pictures in and OXO replaced the unit with this one. They were very prompt, very nice, and very professional. I was surprised, thinking they would pretty much just blow me off. Thank you very much Madge, I really appreciated it.

Cold Coffee

Coffee is cold, carafe does not keep it hot and there is no way to replace it as it is no longer made. So I either need to have cold coffee or buy a whole new system. I will not be buying oxo products in the future as they are apparently disposable and are to be tossed out ever couple of months.

Great Coffeemaker with a Horrible Carafe

OXO's 9-cup makes outstanding coffee. Better than the Bonavita it replaced. I'd give it a 5-star review if it weren't for a few issues. Its biggest problem is the carafe. Although it keeps coffee hot and fresh as long as we need it to, we can't pour a cup of coffee without it dribbling coffee on the counter or floor. To make things worse, when you put it back in the maker, the dribbled coffee sticks the carafe to the base. This makes for a constant cleaning hassle. The one touch control also has a learning curve. I keep the owner's manual bookmarked on my phone in case I ever have to do something different than my usual pot of coffee.
