Faulty carafe

It's a great coffee maker except for one thing: the carafe. It leaks and drips everywhere when we pour a cup of coffee. It's impossible to pour it without dropping. We constantly have coffee on our counters. It's very frustrating and seems like a design issue that could've been easily corrected.

I have a smaller oxo then got the 12 cup. The quality is number one & the manual is like 1-2-3 easy to understand no matter what age you are. We love this coffee maker for my husband and I

12-cup coffee maker

I previously had the OXO 9-cup coffee maker, which was execellent except the hose from the boiler to the coffee area kept popping off, so we upgraded to the 12 cup. The 12-cup is waaaaay slower at brewing and we've already had a situation where it clogged and overflowed all over the counter. Also, the clock isn't illuminated, so you can't see it from across the room.

Cleaning error

Was gifted this coffee maker as I don’t usually splurge on nice things. No matter what I do I get an HHH / CLN error. Extremely disappointing :(
