Great machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first sewing machine, always wanted one but had no idea that they could be this awesome and high tech. Comes with a lot of extras, pretty much whatever you need to get started.I have to say though, since this is my first one the instructions were completely overwhelming. I had no idea on what to do or how to set it up by just looking at the pictures. Thankfully if you go on the website there are some videos to watch. Those were helpful trying to figure out how to even set everything up. The touch screen is really cool. There are so many different option on what you can do with this Brother machine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love the embroidery feature bringing these beautiful pattern to life via the apt. So many designs to choose from. Over 200 built in stitches to choose from. The options are limitless. It comes with all the accessories you need.

Easy to use, great quality

It is very easy to thread whether you are sewing a quilt or embroidering a design on a t-shirt. The stitching is even, consistent and smooth. There are plenty of built in decorative stitches beyond the classic straight or zig zag stitch. The embroidery feature is amazing! It is incredibly easy to use for even a novice like me. The set up is fast and simple and the color touch screen is easy to read. I love that I can send designs wirelessly from my phone or computer to the machine. No cords to lose or get in the way! I have already made a few personalized gifts and the recipients were very happy and impressed!

The quality of this machine is very nice! The price is reasonable as well. I really like how it has a wide variety of embroidery designs. I highly recommend this.

It is Wireless LAN Connected, has a 5" x 7" Hoop, 193 Built-in Embroidery Designs, 241 Sewing Stitches and so much more! You can edit everything right on the LED colored screen for perfect designs every time! This is an amazing machine!

Dream Come True

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The brother se2000 sewing and embroidery machine is a dream machine! I’ve been using a sewing machine for a few years now and this is the best I’ve ever used. It is significantly faster and quieter than others I’ve used. I was not expecting the speed difference in stitching and actually had to slow it down to get used to the speed difference which is great. This machine is quiet enough that it does not wake my baby when she’s napping in my sewing room like my other machine does. It has every stitch I normally use and then some plus it comes with various presser feet. The markings on how to thread the machine on the machine are clear to follow and while the manual for the machine is a bit thick, it has step by step instructions on how to use all the features and stitches along with a website to access with video tutorials. The touch screen makes it simple to pick your stitch and even if you are completely new to sewing, this machine would great to learn with as I plan to teach my teens to sew on it as well.
As an embroidery machine, it makes the process easy. I’ve never done machine embroidery before, but following the manual and on screen instructions, it is easy to put together designs and embroider them. Learning any new craft does have a little learning curve, but I feel this machine helps minimize that if you take the time to read the instructions and reference the manual or videos until you learn it. I was able to put together a last minute birthday shirt for my daughter the night before her big day with relative ease using just the pre loaded patterns and fonts with no computer required. I did purchase some designs as well and as long as they are in the right format I can load them from my usb drive or even send wirelessly from my computer with the design database transfer software. There is also a smart phone/tablet at called Artspira where you can create patterns wherever you are with no computer required. This machine comes with a 5x7 hoop which is big enough for me and so far everything I want to do.
