The machine itself is awesome. I would have given 5 stars if there were actually some tutorials for the embroidery. This would make the learning curve easier.

This machine is amazing and offers a great deal of flexibility for the price. While brother offers a great deal of support, it's hard to get hooked in and actually receive the report support you need when you need it. I wish they would send out online tutorials to get you started once you register your machine. Live tutorials would be awesome. Something where people could go on line and watch live and make comments.

bad to good in 30 minutes

for some unknown reason, the auto threader was not functioning properly. this was happening from the start. the selling dealer told me to bring it in, which I did and he replaced the auto threader. the technician was really knowledgeable of BROTHER machines and it took him about thirty minutes total to have me fixed and back in working order. in my opinion brother stands behind their products. this is the only brother product i have had a problem with. great company and products !

I’ve never had an embroidery machine. This is my first embroidery machine and it is so easy to navigate through the touch screen seamlessly. I’m very impressed with all that this machine can do. I can’t wait to see what else I can create with it. I’m an artist as well and I love the Artspira app. I love that the app lets you draw out your own designs. I think that is amazing and I am looking forward to the app being updated with more drawing tools. I love that you can download more embroidery designs and being able to even get some freebie’s as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I admit I was really intimidated to use the Brother SE2000 Sewing and Embroidery Machine at first. While I have a sewing machine, I've never used one so advanced before, and I have never tried embroidery, period. It took me a couple weeks to use it after receiving it. Now I can't believe I waited! The learning curve is easy to adjust, and I've been making a lot of great gifts - and items for myself. I started with a lemon design (found in the app) on a towel, and I haven't looked back. This machine is fine for beginners. I relied on the manual and checking out YouTube videos for support and ideas. I love the wireless LAN capability, and the mobile app is easy to use. There's so many cute built-in designs as well. I like that you can edit on the LCD color display screen. There's 241 built-in sewing stitches, 13 built-in embroidery fonts, and 10 styles of one-step auto-size buttonholes. You have so many creative options. When connected to a wireless network, I love how I can send files from my computer to the machine without having to use a USB. So convenient. One of the best features is the Color Sort, which adjusts the order in which multi-color embroidery designs are stitched, thus reducing color changes, and making it more efficient. Also amazing is the practical Jump Stitch Trimming function, which automatically trims any excess thread jumps within the color. This machine is truly amazing and capable of so many sewing and embroidery projects. It's really a must have for anyone who likes either of those hobbies.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a beginner with this type of sewing machine, I was immediately intimidated by how much this can do. I'm used to threading a bobbin and going. This is great if you create your own merch for your company or if you are a graphic artist type that will make great use of the embroidery programs. You can literally draw things and upload them to the machine and they come out perfectly. I am still learning after having this for a few months. It is extremely user-friendly and I am slowly getting the hang of a lot of its components it's truly the most fun. I embroidered stockings this year as a first task and they came out so cute! Bluetooth capability is amazing, and the programs it uses are super easy to use. I truly feel like I will never learn everything this machine can do. There's just so much, but I will have it for the rest of my life. My Brother makes the top of line products and this will be in my family forever. I cannot believe how far technology has come. I still have my Brother sewing machine my Mom gave me in the 80s. It works great. The LCD screen is so nice. It's a touchscreen and it really gives you the easiest way to complete your projects. The list is honestly endless. It's so nice I try and learn something new every day because it shouldn't sit around and collect dust. This is for the avid creator in your life. It is phenomenal. I even bought a whole cabinet setup for it so I have an entire space for learning and creating. It's so fun!

Easy to use!

The embroidery function is amazing and the Bluetooth capability makes it simple to import designs and make them. I can't say enough good things about this!
