[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the 80V 18" chainsaw w the 4Ahr battery and charger. I am pleased with the saw's performance. It is powerful, easily cutting logs and stumps that are 12" to 15" in diameter, both soft and hardwood. The bar adjuster is easy to use, and to keep proper chain tension. I've noticed reviewers who don't like the (heavy) weight of the saw with the 4 Ahr battery. I find the weight to be reasonable and to provide more stability in the cut (a point for safety.) The saw is loud enough that I use ear cups in addition to eye protection. I would advise a spare battery for large jobs; but batteries charge relatively quickly (the charger has a cooling fan--good idea.) All in all, I'm very pleased with the saw.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just got this a few weeks ago. Took a minute to get the right tension and oil was a little slow at first until i took the blade off and just kinda cleared the space a bit. After yhat, I've been impressed. Good power and cuts 15-18 inch logs without effort. About 10-12 seconds.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently got this saw and love how it feels. Hefty enough to know it's not a toy, but no messing around with gas.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the most amazing chainsaw I've ever owned. Lots of power, lasts longer than I expected, and taking juniper trees out faster than a forest fire.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an initial review, as I've only used the saw for one job so far. I've had the 40v, 16" bar for years and was very happy with it. Moving to the 80v with 18" bar has been a dream.
The saw has lots of power, is well balanced, and came out of the box well assembled and ready to go. I had a Beech tree fall across the driveway -- fairly hard wood and about 19" wide at the base -- and the new 80v had it all diced up in about 2 hours. On one battery.
I hope the saw keeps rocking, but so far, so good.
Pros: Convenient, Cost-Saver, Easy to Use, Quiet, Effective, Powerful
