This is my 3rd go around for a pole saw. I've had gas, electric, and now battery. My tools might be slightly lighter, since i have the backpack battery pack, so the weight of the battery is on my hip, which cuts the weight in half. Also, much lighter than gas, and lighter than the electric motor pole saw I used. Also push button to run/stop.
The good part is the tool cuts through wood like a hot knife in butter. Also, the tools is 9ft, so excellent reach. The tool is easy to disassemble, and reassemble. There a large wing nut to remove the chainsaw cover, and and a standard screw to adjust the tension.
The bad, you can easily cut a very large and heavy branch.
My only wish would be if the tool had some sort of adapter to make it shorter, so i could clean up branches, and chop the wood down to a manageable size. This is a minor issue, since i have a push down chainsaw to clean up the debris, and cut the larger pieces into firewood amd scrap.
Cuts well, but I wish you could have the option of making the pole shorter by removing the center extension piece, as the saw is quite heavy to handle at its current length.
