Excellent saw for medium sized jobs. I have a smaller 40v saw by Greenworks and it is great for smaller jobs and limbs but this one cuts logs! Great battery life and excellent cosntruction.
I'm a single 67 years lady and oh how glad I am I purchased not just the chainsaw..but the tiler and the weed trimmer all 80 V. Best investment for me as I had so much trouble mixing the gas & oil..(and had to buy new ones year after year)..and the strength to start the saw & tiler had me worn out before I even got started working!!! Now charge the battery (which fits all 3)..(so I purchased a back up ready to keep at my work)..And push the start button...YES !! I HIGHLY recommend Greenworks products..Have had mine for..I think 2-3 years now..!
Quite pleased with this chainsaw. We can carry it into the woods and work on fallen trees with no trouble at all. We find the battery charger and battery to be heavy duty and so far the battery has lasted for several hours of moderate use.
Cuts great and works well for two years. Then chain sprocket wears out. But luckily I got ahold of support and they are honoring there 4 year warranty and send me a new part. Great chainsaw does exactly what they say in the ads.
Haven't used a chainsaw in about 25 years. Bought the chainsaw and mower, so I have 3 batteries and 2 chargers. Used 3 batteries to limb and cut up the tree in the photo before my thumb started to cramp. Next weekend I finished the job with less than 2 batteries. The saw is very easy to use and went thru this tree like butter. There is a little noise from the gears and chain, but it is much quieter than a gas saw. And the sound is lower pitched and constant. None of the high pitched revving of a gas saw.
My husband has used the chainsaw. He really likes it. It is very quiet compared to a gas powered chainsaw. It cuts through logs easily and by the time the battery runs down, he is ready to take a break also.
