[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this 80v pole saw in August so I could trim the trees up before winter. The parts were easy to put together and I did not need the directions to do so. I tightened averything down and put some oil in the reservior and went to work. To my surpise it ate through some 4-6 inch branches with no problem. I used the pole saw for about a half hour and it barely used any juice from the battery so its pretty efficient. The only things I could really have any comment about would be that this saw is a bit heavy with the 80v battery in it and it could use a handle on the pole to help hold it up and forward into higher places. Kind of like the handle on the weed wacker. Other than that .. great product.. I would recommend it to anyone who asks..

It's lightweight and it cuts faster than any other pole saw I've used in the past, which have mostly been gas powered, and it cuts for a plenty long time too. I just hope it can last me years and years

When I read about this product I noticed that some complained about the chain falling off the bar constantly. Mine came with the chain already installed and I assumed that it was ready to go. My second cut, sure enough the chain fell off. After checking I found the tension screw was loose, what happens when you assume. I put the chain back on adjusted tension properly and the unit has been performing flawlessly ever since. The hedge trimmer works just as well.
