An Awesome Multicolor 3D Printer!

This printer is amazing! First, it was extremely easy to set up - in minutes I was able to print. The self-leveling bed works to perfection. Print speed is fast. The camera, coupled with the Creality Cloud 3d Print app, allows you to monitor your prints from anywhere. The final prints were extremely high quality! I highly recommend the Creality Hi Combo 3d printer system.

From out of the box to first print

The unboxing and setup of the creality hi is extremely simple and straight forward. A few screws and cables to connect and you are good to go. The main cable to the gantry could be reconsidered as it is not a really decent design and I fear for taller prints and cable pinching but time will tell. Setting it up in the app was easy even if it did lock up on me. I had to force close the app but when I opened it back up the printer was there. Prints are good, just want to dial in your settings first. The prints are not as smooth as the K2 out of the box. I haven't set up the cfs as I am thinking about just keeping it for my K2 but I couldn't pass up the deal. Well worth the money.

The printer works as it should. How ever I have had a few issues with the cfs. The slicer is not the greatest. And more often than not when the printer starts, it picks whatever color it wants .regardless of slicer settings.

Total beginner 3D printing but I am a tech whisperer. Unboxing and putting together main unit was easy. The CFS had a page to tell me to
scan a qr code which led me nowhere useful. Figured out how to set it up and some youtube vids helped. Had issues getting the rig to stay connected to my wifi. Would be nice to have an ethernet port. The software is not bad for pre-setup prints but try anything else and it gets deep quick with no reference as to what all the settings do. Again, a printed or pdf manual would be nice. I hate going to Youtube. Have done a bunch of prints and only failures (two) were user error in the supports generation. Everything else is working incredibly well! My other nag on the hardware is the placement of the camera. It is useless for
timelapses or even casual viewing progress. Needs to be mounted on a non-moving part!

I am ecstatic with my creality HI combo,it works great and makes printing very easy and beginner friendly,i have 6 other creality filament printers as well as a creality resin printer and they are always great machines and they are always ready to offer any support that is needed
