No need for iron

I love this unit! It has man features but I enjoy two particular ones. The delay start to set it after I go to work and the steam! That is the best part! No more ironing shirts for me.

Great dryer, fast

We were hesitant about an electric dryer, we've just always had gas. We love this dryer. It is quick and does a great job. Clothing seems less wrinkled and there are so many great features. I like the extended tumble as well as the steam de-wrinkle. And it looks great, too!

The operational manual is intimidating, but the control system is a dial, letting you select the type of load. Then the lights tell you the standard time, temperature, and dryness, which you can alter easily with toggles. Very simple - Thank you. one issue is that the body metal is thin. We have dent in the top, that was not there when it arrived. It must be the result of moving over for better alignment in the laundry room.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Matched my washer which was bought over the phone

Too large for my space. We bought it because it matched the washer we bought over the phone one year before. We were expecting company and our old GE washer stopped working. I thought I would like a front loading machine....wrong. It does not get my clothes clean. Never buy a front loading washer!! The matching dryer is OK but is too large for my space. Very unhappy with our decision to go the front loader way.

Purchase this GE Dryer in September and absolutely love it. With all the different cycle options, it makes it easy to finish my laundry faster. I never have to worry about the clothes being a little damp when the cycle is complete. Plus, it is very quite.
