Just what we needed.

This is the companion to the washer in a very large closet on the second floor. Love both pieces. Dryer is vented outside and like any dryer as long as you don't stuff it with clothes it is fabulous. Like an dryer you also need to think about separating things that dry at the same rate. Love it.

Brand new drum won't turn awful!!

The dryer was installed during a new build along with a new washer machine. Went to use the, both for the first time on a Friday evening, washer no problems, dryer useless.
Display comes on and counts down but the drum doesn't turn and there is no heat. Called up the warranty/service line, speak to someone who then gives me another number I need to call on Saturday morning to arrange for a service visit, which I am told won't be until sometime nest week and only in business hours. So this means I have to take time off work because the GE dryer doesn't work, just awesome......
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

wonderful, easy to use

This dryer was replaced by GE due to deceptions by the people from whom I bought it. GE was very understanding and did the absolute best for me by replacing my other GE Profile (dryer which had been sold to me as a 2014-15 model when in fact, it was a 2012 model) . I will never forget their kindness and will recommend GE to all of my friends and family.

So happy with how quickly I dry everything. I use the 29 minute medium setting on almost all my loads.

This is an excellent product. Our family has a long history of buying GE appliances. This dryer has many useful features, such as the steam de-wrinke cycle. Also, it has a detangle option. This is useful when drying sheets and towels; it reverses the tumble direction every so often to prevent tangling.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We bought the washer and dryer set for our new home and after a long time of buying the cheapest washer and dryer out there (my husband is in construction = hard on them) I am amazed. I don't have to wait hours for my laundry to get dry and have to deal with mounds of laundry with a family of 6. I am actually caught up on laundry!!!

Door doesn't stay shut

Bought this dryer three weeks ago and the dryer door keeps popping open. First load of laundry went into the laundry room and the dryer door was open. Thought it was a new thing, door opens for you to take out the laundry. I was wrong. After the second load, once the dryer was hot the door would just pop open mid cycle, then it just would stay closed. Call the store it was purchased at, they were great and replaced the dryer. I've had the new one now for a week, it's been used twice because, guess what? The door pops open!!! I'm so upset and so not happy with my purchase. I will not ever recommend this dryer to anyone.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
