Very pleased with this new purchase. It has worked as expected though my only complaint would be I wish it had a timer where you could enter your own custom time.

I just love my new dryer! Couldn't be happier with its state of the art performance, looks and the ease of installation. The steam setting is a great asset. After four boys, oh yes and a grandson (that's 5).... this Mama deserved a new dryer. Can't wait to get the matching washer!

Loud and incompetent installers

I had a washer and dryer installed in my condo. The whole process was long with the installers stating they couldn't do the install the first time because the leg was bent. The second group installed it, however the first group never took a foam block out of the bottom of the washer. The second installers said its running fine when I questioned it and left. After attempting to wash it the first time, my clothes had to sit in water for days because the door stayed locked and it didn't spin. Finally the last installers were able to install the product. After the install, I found the product overly loud when spinning and the dryer door hard to shut and open. After a few months now the dryer door broke. GE is not at the top of their products or service.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
