[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this stand mixer a couple of months ago and absolutely love it! So far, my favorite recipes have been soft pretzels, cinnamon rolls, chocolate chip cookies, and Italian meringue! I am hoping to branch out a little soon and buy some of the extensions such as the grain mill, ice cream bowl, heat tempered bowl, and pasta press! I recommend this product and look forward to continuing to branch out with my cooking and to try more complex recipes!

WHAT A COOK!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not a cook(really, I burn water), but no one would know. I went to an apple pie class and they had a Kitchen Aid peeling apples. I was mesmerized. After this peeling-slicing-coring miracle, I received a Kitchen Aid as a gift; What a gift! I now make pies and desserts. My guests say, "What a cook!" I wonder what they'll say when I make fresh pasta, grind steak into burgers, homemade ice-cream, and even fresh squeezed citrus from my orange tree (I think I better go plant more citrus trees). Seriously, it's one of the best gifts I have received.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Artisan 5 qt. stand mixer less than a month ago. I LOVE it! I bought the flex edge beater and stainless steel pastry eater. They work as advertised. I am very happy with the mixer and all the accessories that I used so far.
I wished I could have had this many years ago. It is so much fun to use!

Splash shield does not fit properly

The splash guard on my new model does not fit properly, it keeps sliding around and flips off any time you inadvertently touch while mixing. My old one was sturdy and fit in place and never moved at all.
