Vast Improvement Over My Other Stand Mixer

I did a lot of research on stand mixers, read many, many reviews and KitchenAid was the top pick. I am looking forward to future baking, discovering new recipes, and discovering how to use different attachments to whip up new and not-so-new creations!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For years I have made hundreds of birthday cakes and a number of wedding cakes and always made do with a sunbeam mixer. I finally said enough of this, I’m buying a good mixer and got the 5 qt Kitchen Aid. I could not believe the difference! It effortlessly mixes all my batters for cakes and I put it to test this year with Christmas cookies. I don’t know why I put it off so long. Glad I got it and more than likely it will be the last mixer I ever buy.

Love the color

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We remodeled our Kitchen, got new major appliances and the mixer I had was small and very old, so I purchased the Kitchenaid tilt head mixer. INITIALLY i had problems with adjusting the beaters lower so Kitchenaid sent me a brand new replacement immediately. It too needed the beaters adjusted but had no problem in doing so. Havent used the new one yet but cant wait to try it for my Thanksgiving meal.

Why did I wait so long?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After four decades of marriage, I decided to treat myself to a stand mixer. My only concern was the color! We recently redid our kitchen, and I now have creamy ivory cabinets with a green beadboard backsplash. So, I wanted to make sure I got the right mixer! I ordered the ivory and love it! I’ve made cookies so many times with it. I’ve used the same recipe I always use, but the cookies were so much lighter! I haven’t used the splash guard because I need to find something that will pour easily into it. That would probably be my only negative comment...pouring dry ingredients into the bowl is a little tricky. The only thing I like better than the color is the ease of mixing cookie dough! Clean up is a breeze! I don’t leave small appliances out, but I made an exception for this beauty!
