I wear these whenever I can. These are truly excellent headphones. Sound quality is fantastic. Noise cancelling has to be experienced. The ability to turn the world off is amazing!

Best headphones out!

I love my new XM5s and I highly recommend them. They sound great, look amazing and are very comfortably. The only reason I didn't give this a 5 is because there are still minor tweaks needed. Better app, bring able to for the ear cups towards yourself and not limited to away, being able to replace the ear pads easily when then eventually go bad and ambient mode can be improved as well as the mic.

Not loud enough

Hello, I have increased the maximum volume limit on my iPhone as much as possible and turned the volume up all the way on the iPhone as well as on the Sony WH-1000XM5 headphones and still not as loud as my old Bose Q-35. Is there a way to increase the max volume on the WH-1000XM5 headphones

Disappointed w/NC control

I was excited to switch from my Bose, but the NC optimiser on the WH-1000xm5 is too disruptive and ruins the experience of having the ANC that these headphones are potentially capable of. For example, if I exhale too loud the ANC almost stops and I experience a sudden, loud disruption to my quiet while the headphones make some sort of change. The louder your environment the worse it is. It happens too frequently to be acceptable. I bought these for the ANC capability and the software lets the customer down because I cannot turn the feature off that causes these sudden changes. I want the headphones on maximum NC at all times without the loud reduction in ANC if I breath too hard, take a sip of water or respond to someone asking me a question. Sony really needs to provide an option in the app for users to control the ANC and to turn the feature off that causes such sudden changes in the ANC level. Once this issue is fixed I would be happy with them, but not until then. The sound quality is very good but it does not compensate for the ANC problem.

Perfectly fit my head and ears, and can wear long hour without getting sore compared to previously owned other brand. Very comfortable. Old one is more than 10 yrs now and wanted to have wireless.

Best Headphones Ever!

I purchased these headphones about 2 weeks ago and absolutely loved them. I had heard some great reviews and needed to try them for myself. These headphones have amazing features, sound quality and the noise cancelling is superb.
