I bought these for the excellent active noise cancellation. I am not a happy flyer, but the first time I used them on a long-distance flight, I didn't notice that the plane had taken off! They also have very good sound, are easy to use and comfortable to wear.

Purchased these headphones from my local jbhi, the service there is second to none (charlestown square). Can honestly say these are the best headphones I've ever purchased! I mowed the lawn with them on and to be honest the only thing that gave away the mower was running was the vibrations in my hand. Sweet blissfully silence. Great product, well worth the coin

Not loud enough

For the price of these headphones, they are not loud enough even with the volume on headphones at max, volume on device at max and eq on device set to the loudest des eq setting. These headphones are just not loud enough for the price that I paid. Very underwhelming and unhappy. I bought these Sony headphones after having two Bose headphones and with that I would have bought another pair of Bose.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was having trouble to pick between XM5 or APM. I am glad I got the XM5 at the end. The sound cancelling was great. It blocked off most of the sound from train and bus. Sometimes I even feel insecure that I couldn’t hear much haha. When I first used it I thought the vocal was abit blurry, but only because I not yet set up the setting in the app, after setting up the sound in the app it was nice and beautiful .!
