Not what I thought it would be!

On my desk top the set up was easy & quick. It worked fine. Still works fine. But my laptop was a different story. It took hours over several days to get it down loaded. It worked fine until I turned it off. When I turned it back on I could not get it to print because of a print spool error which I can't correct. Looks like it will be going back. (It still works great for my desk top) Good thing I kept all the packaging!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Better than the h p printer that I bought the latest model.They all have issues meant some plug.Gets played with and gets disconnected.It causes a corruption in the printer where it asked for a setup in cartridges when they're already installed.And there's only the old versions you could reset it.But you can't reset it with the new ones so it's it's just a brick, but this one, no problem wifi, no problem, always printing very happy.I would buy another one same model

Impressive printer

Simply put, once I figured out that most of the features are accessed via the printer, I was amazed at what can be done. I had expected to do OCR on the desktop and it was completely done on the printer. Nice surprise for me.
The documents that print from the desktop are crisp and there wasn’t any bleeding of the ink. I still have to test and see if I can print a Ledger sheet document with the product. Once I’ve had more time working with the printer, I will be able to be more in-depth. Negatively using Mobile Connect, I don’t appreciate having to create an account and have to login with other mobile devices. However once set up access is quick.
At present, it’s still a learning curve.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very good printer

I bought this printer about 5 months ago. I found it easy to install and use. This has good quality printing. I do find the printer goes through the ink cartridges fairy quickly.
I have used Brother printers for a lot of years and found that they are reliable.
Even thought I have had this printer for a short time, I would like to try a Brother Laser printer and maybe save some money on buying ink cartridges regularly.
