good printer- solid build, loaded with features

I have had this unit for about a month using it excessivel in a testing mode. I've burned through the started ink and moved on to compatible lc401 cartridges, the printer accepts them without hesitation and then work perfectly. I'AM USING FINDERS&CO. as good as the name brand but 3or 4 times less expensive!!. I urge all new buyers to immediately turn off or disable firmware updates first thing out of the box.it is through the firmware download that brother can block the use of comparable cartridges leaving you stuck paying for the very expensive brother ink forever. I have learned thatbvall of the printer manufactures are doing this firmware compatible cartridge scam just a money grab. comparable cartridge set $22.00 name brand $100.00 !!

My 1st and very good printer

I searched all budget friendly printers but I found it most appropriate to my needs. I will use it for my kid assignment plus I searched Canon and Epson and what I found is they are too difficult to connect. This one was super easy to connect and print quality is quite good.

Setup this printer with USB cable and also on wifi. Then also jointed the Ink Subscription with Brother.
I have only had it operating for a week but, I have nothing but good things to say. I am most pleased! This is an excellent printer and am pleased with the Brother company as well and of course also Best Buy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

An excellent budget printer for a home office

Waaaayyyy better than the Canon I had. Easy set up. No issues with consistent wifi connectivity. Prints double sided! I think Brother has the superior printer brand.

I am using this printer for a year now, and it is an excellent printer. Does everything it is suppose to do without any problems. Easy to connect, I have it connected to my WIFI and it never fails me, does not use a lot of ink, but I don't print large documents. The ink is so easy to install, and no messes encountered. The machine is self cleaning, the ink is a reasonable price too.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Trash product, and the app to scan is even worse! This machine says it can dual sided scan, which was a huge disappointment as it cannot. The app/brother Iscan, you cannot rearrange the scanned pages like I can with my hp. It goes through ink like no tomorrow and the ink itself is so dang expensive. Honestly, save your money and get an HP printer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
