I started buying the 60v Greenworks tools including the leaf blower. I considered a more substantial unit but settled for this basic unit and I'm very happy with it.
I leave this in the garage with the battery in it and use it probably twice a week and the battery seems to last forever. It's reasonably light weight and powerful enough for my needs. I was tired of dealing with gas powered tools and it's so nice to just pop in a battery and go. Obviously having two batteries is a must, but as you build your collection of Greenworks you will likely end up with extra batteries.
I simply can't see a downside to these tools unless they stop making tools in your chosen voltage. It would be nice if all Greenworks tools worked with a standard battery but I think I'm asking too much. Pick a voltage and build your collection.
i bought my snow blower last year. was so glade to be able to use it. Once, not a lot of snow. but was so please with the ease of how to put together and also on the job it did.
I was always apprehensive of cordless lawn tools until I got the Greenworks blower. It has tons of power to handle the leaves and debris on our 1-acre yard. And the battery life longevity is great too! It usually outlasts me!
I am on many snowblowers in my time and always having to service her fixed then finally when I saw battery snowblower I’m like a man and now I’ve had it for two years going on three hard winters in Chicago and I love it thank you
I used this for a few months and had no problem at all. The trimmer is very versatile with its tilting head that can edge and also trim weed. The wheel makes all the difference when it comes to edging as you don’t have to keep the unit in the air all the time.
The blower is very good too with the variable speed as you press more on the button. I use it all the time to dust off my garage. It’s very light.
My only complaint is that they both come with a single 24V battery to share. The blower is not as powerful as some corded blowers, but I will take the cordless portability over power any day.
I bought this unit today with the intention of using it to clean my roof. I decided it would be reasonable to use it in the driveway, and areas adjacent. I am very glad that I did because 1) the unit didn't have a very strong air stream unless I used it on turbo, and 2) like several other complaints on this thread it stopped working after about 15 minutes. I wonder if there is a thermal cut out for the motor that tripped as I still had plenty of battery life. If I was up on the roof I would have been very upset. I had high hopes, and purposely bought what I thought would be a high quality unit
