Hello Tma1961,
We're sorry to hear that your Snow Blower is not starting. We would suggest making sure the battery is showing fully charged on the charger and on the battery, in the event the charger is showing a false reading. Make sure that the battery is fully inserted in the battery compartment (you should hear a loud audible click once in place). Re-try starting the Snow Blower by holding down the button and lifting the bail switch and hold in position for a good 2-3 seconds. If after attempting these you are still having problems starting the tool, we would be interested in hearing more about this issue. Please submit an email using the customer contact page on our website or give us a call at 1-888-909-6757 (1-888-90WORKS).
Not bad for a light fluffy snow, but if there is any ice or mixed precipitation, this unit is not capable of throwing it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hello mdarney,
Thank you for your review. We appreciate you taking a moment to share your experience. The distances at which snow is thrown is dependent on the type of snow. For example, light/fluffy snow will have a greater throwing distance in comparison to wet/heavy snowfalls. For best use in heavy/wet snow types, you will want to move less at once. Once a full pass has been completed, only move about a third of the width of the unit with each pass going forward. This will help with the load acting against the unit and should hopefully assist in a more enjoyable user experience. If you find that you are still experiencing an issue with the chute, please submit an email to info@greenworkstools.com and our team will be able to send you further instructions on how to resolve this issue or contact Customer Care at 1-888-909-6757 and we will be happy to assist with the warranty claims process.
I bought a 60v Greenworks mower early last summer. I chose Greenworks after some research aimed at finding one whose battery could also be used for a snow blower. Good reviews led me to greenworks.
The snowblower was easy to assemble and so light, I had my doubts about durability.
We finally got enough snow to put it through it's paces. 40 inches of snow in 18 hours. I first tried it early in the storm when the snow got to be 4 inches deep on my driveway. It was amazing. My entire driveway was done in about 20 minutes. About 5 minutes in, I hit the corner of a curb. The machine jumped up and stalled. A push of the button and I was back underway. No damage! A couple hours later. I did the driveway again at about 5 inches. Same results. The next morning, I woke to another 30 inches! I knew there was no way to throw all that snow in one pass. I used a shovel to knock snow to a cleared area and ran the blower across to throw it farther than I ever could. If I had done it all by hand, the snow banks would have grown taller than I could have thrown over. That has happened to me with a lot less than 40 inches of snowfall.
I am very happy with this. I don't mean to imply it's the best tool for a huge snow storm. I do know it handled it and it will take care of 6 to 8 inches without a hickup.
It works pretty well.. Just used it for an 8 inch storm in NJ and it worked great. The only issue is if the ground is compacted ice/snow(like a car ran over a spot) it doesn’t do that section. So I still shoveled for 2 minutes but it was just scraps.. The battery lasted very long so no worries on that end
Great for up to medium tall to reasonably tall people :)

Very easy setup and only few components to install. Operations wise: the handle that operates the direction of the chute goes right up against your legs, so you have to bend over a bit and push the blower ahead of you so you don't run into the handle. It would be helpful if the handle bar can be made to be extended or have another part that can be installed. I'm 6'-5" and the bars could use an extra four to six inches to reach comfortably. Otherwise, the blower works great. Just did the driveway which is roughly 175' from the street to the garage and got about 3/4 done on a 5Ah and a 6Ah battery on roughly 12" of fresh snow. It'll stall when pushing too hard into the 12". Best to do two passes. Took one more fully charged battery to finish it.
