Not as good as gasoline

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used a Hitachi RB23EAP 23.9cc Gas Blower since 2015, and It is rated at 441 CFM at 170 MPH.
My leaf-blowing duties around my house take anywhere from 40 minutes to 2 hours.
It is time to replace the old gas-powered unit, so I got this battery-powered unit that is rated at a better 630 CFM and comes with a 2 Ah battery.
The first time I used it, the blower lasted me 10 minutes. I went inside and put it on the new charger. It took just over an hour to charge, not 40 minutes like the listing claims. After the battery charged, I went out to blow more leaves. This time, I only got 20 minutes. I never even used the turbo feature, just regular leaf blowing.
I am returning this. It is not worth the money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello jp2code.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with the 60V Blower (2.5Ah Battery and Charger). We are sorry to hear that the runtime and charging experience did not meet your expectations.
Runtime performance can vary based on operating conditions, airflow settings, and workload intensity. When used on high debris loads or in turbo modes, battery drain will occur faster than under lighter-duty use. The 2.5Ah battery supplied with this model is designed primarily for convenient, light to medium yard maintenance rather than extended continuous operation.
Regarding charging time, the approximately 40-minute charge claim is typically based on optimal conditions and may vary depending on battery temperature, remaining charge level before charging, and environmental factors. Your observation of longer charge time is helpful feedback for us to review.
We understand your decision to return the product and appreciate you sharing your comparison with gas-powered equipment. Your feedback will be forwarded to our product team as we continue improving performance communication and user expectations.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent experience with the blower. Powerful and ergonomic. The 'cruise control' feature is great! I would purchase again if it became necessary due to loss or theft. Seemingly the quality of this product will have it in my quiver for a long time.
Pros: Durable, Environmentally Safe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first use was to blow a light snow cover off my deck and front porch followed by tree sticks all over my driveway. I love the various trigger to control the exact amount of pressure you need. and I love the included shoulder strap especially with the 5ah battery.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am enjoying this 60v blower very much. Because of a great ergonomic design it does feel lite in the hand even with the larger 4ah battery. Most impressive is it's power, as it more than easily covers my 5,000 sq foot lawn with room to spare on my neighbors property. He'll end up purchasing one for sure. Thank you Greenworks.
Pros: Convenient, Cost-Saver, Easy to Use, Durable, Effective, Powerful
I would recommend this to a friend!
