The promise is great, but the delivery of that promise is marginal. I have now purchased multiple Greenworks tools - trimmer, blower, lawn mower, drill and driver - and based on that experience, expected greatness from this cordless stick vacuum. I did not get greatness, just a shade above mediocrity. The battery life is much less than desired. I bought it in the hopes of a 45 minute use per charge, as advertised, but getting anywhere near that means you must run it on its minimal power.
More important, though, the service at Greenworks absolutely STINKS! I have tried 5 times to call them (they don't provide an email option) and have been on hold 45+ minutes each time, and finally gave up. If most of the products weren't so good on their own, I suspect this company would have long ago gone out of business.
In summary - try their tools if you want to go it alone. Forget getting service support.
More important, though, the service at Greenworks absolutely STINKS! I have tried 5 times to call them (they don't provide an email option) and have been on hold 45+ minutes each time, and finally gave up. Best out of 3 robot vacuums on the market!!!

Bought 1 month ago and by far the Best Robot Vacuum. 1) Powerfull suction. 2) Creates a complete mapping showing you its complete path while cleaning. 3) Efficient, other competitors robot vacuums I have are very random in their pattern. Greenworks creates a logical path doing each room until complete. 4) Does NOT need magnetic strips to block areas. You actually create virtual blocks on the map!! Excellent engineering of map and features! 5) I managed a 1,000+ engineers in my career and it is obvious the engineers who designed the robot vac are top notch!! Appearnce, reliability, software of robot and app are excellent!! 6) If the robot vac continues to work without fault I would rate it the Best on the market!! 7) I don’t work for Greenworks just appreciate great engineering when I see it!!!

I loved this vacuum at first, it no longer empties the vacuum at the base because the bag is full and they do not offer replacements. It works great other than that but if I wanted to empty the bin on the vacuum everytime I used it I would have bought one with a vacuum base station. I'm doubtful anyone from greenworks will read this but if you do hook a brother up with some replacement bags and I'll bump this to 5 stars!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the stick vacuum, I bought it for my stairs. It has a lot of suction. Makes cleaning the stairs so much easier. The only negative I see is the small container that catches the dirt. It’s still worth the money! I would buy it again.

Poor software. Does't properly navigate through all spaces. A lot of left over spaces. Does't avoid obstacles. It hits and tries to identify the obstacle and path. The brush doesn't work even for standard room carpet. Doesn't know how to return back to dock. Very Very Very poorly designed software as well as hardware compared to counterpart other vacuums such as RoboVacc. One good thing: It doesn't fall of the stairs.
Pros: Cost-Saver
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
