[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mower makes mowing so easy it is fun. Just walk behind and steer. Super powerful. Cuts tall grass easily and mulches it. Great buy.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Delivery was great. It was easy to assemble. It runs great and is perfect for the size of lawn I purchased it for. I'm still getting a feel for the steering. It's a bit slow in reverse. I recommend this mower.
Pros: Convenient, Easy to Use, Quiet, Environmentally Safe, Effective, Powerful
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this product about 2 weeks ago. Everything works great. The unit came with 2, 5AH batteries, although it turns out that I only need one to mow both my front and back yards. I have St. Augustine grass in the front and Bermuda in the back and the mower cut each type of grass equally well. I only used the two highest cutting settings, so with 8 possible positions, it appears to have the capability to cut really low, if that is what you need.
The only two slight disadvantages I see so far is that after releasing the self-propelled lever to reposition the mower (for example, dragging the mower backwards briefly), it takes a moment for the mower to disengage from self-propelled mode. This makes it more difficult to pull the mower backwards; however, after a moment, it disengages and is much easier to move. Secondly, each 5 AH battery is pretty heavy. Thank goodness I only need one and the mower is self-propelled, but it is something to keep in mind if you don't actually need all that battery power, regardless if it was a good deal or not. Some of these may be common problems with other self-propelled battery mowers as well, I don't know; this is my first one.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this mower about 2 months now and so far I'm very happy with it. No exhaust smells, no gas, no spark plugs, etc. Just keep it clean and go! Cuts really nicely, my yard looks like it's been professionally done. Super power, so be aware of that when driving it! Don't run into things! Also really quiet for a mower, even with the blades on high. The "trunk" on the back has been super handy for hauling smaller things around the yard, and if needed, I can still fit a 5 gallon bucket between my feet to haul more items (not that I recommend you do this). I'm making a point to care for the batteries as those are quite expensive, and I try to bring them inside each time so they don't sit in the hot garage. I've never used a zero turn, so my first mow with it was a bit of a challenge, but by time I had about 4 mows in I have it down. My initial experience with this mower has been great. I hope it remains that way!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my second time purchasing this mower. I liked so much the 1st time that I bought another for our second home. Excellent power and turning capabilities along with long lasting batteries to get the job done. Fast chargers help to get you powered up fast. Cleaning it up is a breeze and the ride is super comfortable.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really solid unit, seat is much better than my zero turn mtd. the front steering however, isnt as solid as i would have liked. Front end wobbles and the steering wheel is pretty slippery. Will see how well it holds up over time vs my mtd. Pros - long run time -surprisingly solid build -Fast like a go cart! -cruise control negatives -turns of when reversing/ mowing -makes tight turns, but cant compete with mtd due to first neg. -One battery came with loose plastic inside(cant be good) -came delivered in no crate (may not be greenworks fault). Overall I would give 3.5 stars, but if everything would have went right, it would be 4.5. Really cool unit I intend to keep.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just bought this combo set so that I could have some ease and autonomy with cleaning up my yard after having 2 hear attacks and I must say the self propelled features on this mower are fantastic 👌 😀. I love my mower. The battery doesn't stay charged long but I don't mind because it makes me take necessary breaks in between the exercises of mowing my yard. I find the other tools a little heavy once the batteries are added but I still like the ease of use. Love the power on the blower!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mower itself is wonderful. I’ve had it a month or two and now the battery will not charge.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hello Kyte22.
Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear about the experience you have encountered with the battery and charger. Here are a few troubleshooting suggestions to check out. 1) When the battery is inserted, the light should begin flashing green to indicate the battery is charging. If this light is not igniting or is flashing red, this may indicate an issue and we would be interested in hearing more about this. If the light simply goes solid red, try removing the battery and unplugging the charger for about 10 minutes and place them both indoors in a room temperature setting, as this might indicate the battery is at the incorrect temperature to be charged. 2) Ensure that the battery has been fully inserted into the charger. Sometimes this requires a firm push into place to make sure that it has been properly seated. 3) Try resetting the charger. To do this, simply unplug it for approximately 10 minutes and then plug it back in and try reinserting the battery. If the charger has been plugged in for extended periods of time, this can sometimes cause the charger to malfunction. If you have tried these suggestions and are still experiencing an issue, please contact us through Live Chat on www.greenworkstools.com or call Greenworks Pro toll-free helpline 1-855-345-3934. We would like the opportunity to speak with you to see if we can find a solution.
