Ran good for a couple of months now it won't even start. The battery is fine. It's the motor that's junk. RUN Run away from this product!

Hello Paula9081. We are sorry to hear of the issue you are experiencing with your 60V Mower. There are a couple of reasons this may happen. 1. The newer design lawn mowers have a built-in safety switch at the bottom of the handle. If the handle is not locked in place properly the mower will not start or stall out after a few seconds. 2.Battery aliment. Check that the battery is correctly connected to the battery compartment. Open the battery door. Align the ribs on the battery with the grooves in the battery compartment. Push the battery into the battery compartment until the battery locks into place. Lastly, startup is often a common reason the mower does not start. To start the unit. Pull back on the green handles while simultaneously pressing the (green) start button, please note the blades will turn off if you release the green handles. We have shared our video in the hope it will assist in a better user experience. (https://youtu.be/8EuAuzYB3zg). [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using this electric riding mower on my 3-acre property, and I couldn’t be happier. It handles the size and terrain effortlessly, with plenty of battery life to get the entire job done in one go. The performance is smooth, quiet, and powerful—no more loud engine noise or trips to the gas station.
One thing that really impressed me is how well it tows my garden trailer. Whether I’m hauling mulch, tools, or yard debris, the mower doesn’t struggle at all. It’s got the torque to handle real work, not just mowing.
It also has great maneuverability, especially around trees and landscaping, and the cut quality is clean and even. Maintenance is minimal, and the electric start is a game-changer.
If you have a larger property and are looking to ditch gas without sacrificing power or performance, this mower is 100% worth it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this mower not to long ago and its a great cutting mower. Lots of power. A little heavy and hard to control when cutting hills, but its to be expected. Plus another thing i like is that it know when it is cutting very thick grass and automatically increase the speed and power of the motor to be able to cut the grass. I recently bought a 8ah battery to increase my run time of the mower. So i can use the self-propelled function for my entire yard and it did not disappoint. I love this mower and cant wait to use it again to cut my lawn.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mower is well-constructed and is reflected in its weight (which is both a pro but also a con when it comes to pushing it around without self-propulsion). It does an excellent job of cutting and mulching with its dual blades: even cut, even distribution of mulch. That it is 22" (instead of 21" like most other mowers) does reduce a few passes on my half acre lot, so that's good. I go pretty fast when I used my previous 21" push mower, and the top speed on this self-propelled one is just a little slower than I like, so I don't always use the self-propulsion if the grass isn't too thick. Controls are easy to use. I like how the handle has two heights for mowing and can fold for storage.Cons: It doesn't cut as close to an edge as my old mower. I.e., it leaves ~2" uncut when mowing right up against a wall. Battery: I bought this with 60V, 80Ah battery. (I see it is selling now with a weaker 5.0Ah battery.) With battery fully charged and cutting thick grass and using self-propelled, I only got about 30 minutes before it died, and I was only ~halfway through my yard. After recharging (which is reasonably fast, 1.5 hours or so), raising the blade and not using self-propelled, I finished the rest of the yard using less than half the battery. I.e., I would get the "up to 60 minutes" runtime. Overall, some quibbles, but the mower with the 8.0Ah battery/charger is an excellent value when I bought it through TSC. I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could.
Pros: Easy to Use, Quiet, Durable, Environmentally Safe
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this one day ago and have used it once. First mow of the season and the grass was a little tall. It cut it without any trouble. Easy start. Easy assembly. Self propel works great. I love the single lever height adjuster. Battery charged quickly. Well built with metal deck "not plastic". After one use I would recommend this product.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this about 1 1/2 years ago to use in a large (1 acre) mowing area. The machine is light-weight to push, so without the self-propel, I can mow my whole area without and "recharge" of the batteries. It's quiet. It cuts nicely. Reliable. Folds up and is easily transportable. Being 25" wide, I can finish earlier than most who own a 21"- 22" wide push mower.
