[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this thing for about 4 ish years now and I've abused it on a Midwestern native weed lawn that's far too big to be push mowing and I must say it does a spectacular job! I've sharpened the blades to about 30° and it will munch through most thick grass and weeds given a fresh battery and a few passes. The effectiveness of the machine does drop off rather significantly around 1/2 to 1/3 of the batteries life span so if you don't have a lot of batteries to cycle out you may have a harder time. The stop protection it has to prevent itself from burning out is really nice, I probably would've killed it by now if it weren't for that feature. For a standard lawn that you're manicuring or even somewhat long regular lawn grass, you'll find this machine to be more than enough.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife bought me this mower for my birthday. The first time I used it, I was blown away at how easy, smooth and effective it was. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking to up their game in yard work.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this just today. Easy to put together. Has great power and mowed my lawn in no time at all. I bag my lawn, and the grass was cut fine with the two blades.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great battery power and charger. I'm sure I will be fine when I am used to it. It is a little too lite, so it bounces if you go too fast. And the blades I foresee trouble with as they are way too flimsy. Everything else about it is great. I will update this when I put on the mulching blades and try it again.
Needs two batteries to get through a half-acre yard. Unless I want to wait several hours to recharge every time I mow (I don't) I'll need two batteries (meant investing hundreds more dollars, almost like buying a second mower). So I bought a second battery after the first three mows this Spring and we aren't even to May yet when the grass gets plush. I don't even have a "lawn". I have a "yard" with lots of violets and clover and such, so it's not that plush to begin with. So, I'm disappointed that this is such an expensive investment and that when these batteries eventually give out it will again be very expensive to keep this thing going. Also the charger emits a loud, high-pitched sound that is annoying - not at all like the chargers for my chainsaw, hedge trimmer or other electric tools. Go figure.
Pros: Easy to Use, Quiet

Hello Suzannah.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. Runtimes and area coverage can vary depending on several factors. Grass height, grass type, mulching, and operators’ technique etc. Uneven ground, trees, bushes, and other obstacles on your lawn can significantly decrease the amount of area you can mow effectively with each pass. Your mowing pattern and technique can also impact on how much area you can cover each time. If your lawn has significant challenges, you might need a mower with features better suited for your specific conditions. Greenworks 60V batteries are backed by a four-year warranty, from the date of purchase. The rate of the battery degradation depends on how well the battery is maintained. There are different variables to consider when giving an adequate answer. In optimal conditions batteries should keep most of their charge to about 2000 full cycles: 1000 with a rapid charger. The charger fan is essential to maintain the battery's health by preventing excessive heat buildup during rapid charging. A noticeable fan noise is considered normal for most high-power battery chargers. They will shut down once it senses the internal battery thermometer is room temperature (so possibly not as soon as charging is complete – depends on battery temperature). If the fan suddenly becomes significantly louder than usual, please start a Live chat on www.greenworkstools.com or call Greenworks Pro toll-free helpline 1-855-345-3934. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this mower Week ago and used it on 1 acre property in all types of grounds it performed beautifully. I was almost done when the battery went dead. Charging the the battery took less than 30 minutes to change. Loving it. So, I decided to order another battery. Unfortunately the battery cost more than the mower itself. That's the only thing I have a problem with this product.
