The Greenworks PRO mower is a great model, I didn’t take a step back from my gas model and this mower is sooo easy to use. Brings good power and the battery lasts through two mows. Those with larger lawns should consider getting a second battery. I would recommend this product to anyone.
Previous to this I was using a Troy-Bilt riding mower. Just purchased this 25" yesterday and did my first cut today. Overall the mower performed well. I like the fact that it freewheels so that when I'm going down a slope I don't have to use the battery power to move it. The cut is even and easy to determine where overlap is. The batteries lasted the entire cut on mulch with the 4 amp being used first and the 6 amp drained to about 1/2. This was for 0.41 acres. The batteries took awhile to charge the first time and I will see how long the recharge will take, but I do have another week to worry about it. All in all I'm pleased with the purchase. It would usually take me about an hour with the riding mower and suprisingly it only took an hour with this mower. I would attribute the equal amount of time to the ease of getting around trees and shrubs and tucked in areas that my lawn has.
I switched From gas to electric this season. It is a bit different but by the second mow I love it. I have the 60V model and plenty of power for my half hour of mowing.
Bought this a month ago to upgrade my gas powered garden tools, was sceptical this could perform as well but I have been pleasantly surprised, the 60V lawn mower, edge trimmer and blower are good quality, have comparable power but are much quieter, lighter and easy to handle. A winner all round.
I bought this mower a month ago and have used it 3 times for my 10,00 sq ft lawn. I also purchased a blower/string trimmer combo that came with a second 60V battery. I do have to change the battery during the mowing process, but that doesn't bother me compared to adding gas and having a pull string starter. This is do quiet, light weight and easy to use. Probably my only complaint is the handles are really long and somewhat uncomfortable. But to just push a button and have it quietly mow is awesome.
