My first electric battery powered mower. It's self propelled which makes it even better. I was cutting the yard a two ladies getting their walk in told me that was the quietest mower they had ever heard. Light but powerful enough. It came with battery and I brought an extra battery and blade.
I just bought this mower 5 days ago. Out of the box assembly was extremely simple. Left the battery to charge overnight and used it the next day. It is so light that the self propelled feature isn't really necessary on level open areas. Oddly quiet after the old Briggs & Stratton machine. Seemed to cut just fine. The only thing that bothered me about it was that, during assembly, the screws that fasten the handle tended to bind up on the loctite in the threads before they were tight on the handle and the plastic recess around the nut was not a tight enough fit to keep the nut from turning with the screw.
We moved in the middle of the summer and I bought this just after we moved in. It takes about 30 min to mow my lawn and I have been able to mow 2 times without charging the batteries. Mower is light and easy to maneuver.
I just bought a house and I knew that I wanted electric lawn equipment for the ease of use, the lack of noise, and the environmental considerations. I was a little worried about how long the battery charge would last and how much power it would have to grind through leaves and twigs as I have several trees on my property. I honestly could not be more impressed. After a large wind storm I had a TON of leaves, twigs and branches strewn across both my front and back yard. Not only did the charge last for the whole backyard, but it plowed through the leaves and twigs making a fine mulched bag for me to add to my new compost. It cuts clean and even and then stores away standing against the wall. I have already recommended it to family and friends.
