I've used the mower 3 times and for the most part, love it. It's light, quiet, and has plenty of power. I love that it stores upright. My yard is between 1/4 & 1/3 acre and there is more than enough battery life to do a mowing. The batteries don't seem to take long to charge either. My only complaint and it's very minor, is that I don't think it mulches the grass quite as much as I'd like.
Mower works well and cuts and bags grass good. The only item I see right now is when I release the self propel it Thales a few seconds for the wheels to be released so I cannot push mower until wheel is released.
I believe generally it's a great product. But I might have received a dud battery. First 5 minute, all beeping, and no more charge in 8 minutes. When I plugged it back to the charger, it is with the RED indicator, I don't think it's a good signs. I tried to charge it a few more time, sometimes it's green and sometime it's red. Initiated a call with them, but two weeks, no reply.

Hello RH L
Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear about the experience you have encountered with the battery. Here are a few troubleshooting suggestions to check out. 1) When the battery is inserted, the light should begin flashing green to indicate the battery is charging. If this light is not igniting or is flashing red, this may indicate an issue and we would be interested in hearing more about this. If the light simply goes solid red, try removing the battery and unplugging the charger for about 10 minutes and place them both indoors in a room temperature setting, as this might indicate the battery is at the incorrect temperature to be charged. 2) Ensure that the battery has been fully inserted into the charger. Sometimes this requires a firm push into place to make sure that it has been properly seated. 3) Try resetting the charger. To do this, simply unplug it for approximately 10 minutes and then plug it back in and try reinserting the battery. If the charger has been plugged in for extended periods of time, this can sometimes cause the charger to malfunction. We are happy to hear you have imitated a inquiry to our Customer Care department. I bought the mower because I do my own yard and no longer want to do the oil changes and gassing up for my old mower. I have a zoysia front yard and St Augustine back and side yard. The ProV Brushless 21" self propelled battery-powered mower works like a charm on both types of grass. After days of rain my yard has been higher then normal. The mower cuts perfectly.
I went from a rider that died to using the wired push mower that the tractor couldn't do. Untangling the 200 foot extension cord took almost as long as cutting and the mower was heavy and hard to go on slopes. But the Greenworks 25 solves both issues...No cords..I turn it on an Im working. This means I can go out and do a zone fast. I can reach the sidewalk grass all the way to my neighbors line which is far. I use the self propel only when I need a boost on slopes to save on batteries. The wider cut means less walking. The battery allowed me to do the whole yard and sidewalk grass and Im still with one bar on the battery. My concerns is I hope the plastic paddles to mow and engage self propel hold up. It doesn't look like an assembly that can easily be replaced. The warranty is good but I keep my mowers for a decade or more. At this point I cant evaluate the batteries until I get 20 or 30 cycles on them.
Very impressed. Nice cut an power when you need it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had a chance to use this for a while and I must say, this is a great mower for certain applications. I have a small landscaping business and I was looking for a mower that I could easy lift up and take to some of my properties at beach because of small grass areas and me not wanting to take my trailer down tight roads and turnarounds. This mower is perfect for this. It is super lightweight and very easy to push even though it's not self propelled. I'm ok with this not having self propelled feature because is lightens mower not having it. The cut it very good. I have some properties with very thick st. Augustine and it cut very well. You have to go slow but it leaves a clean cut without many missed blades. It was a little bit slower on the cut then my high end gas self propelled but I more than made up the time on loading and leaving. I can cut up to 4 small yards on one charge with the 5 amp battery and I have a 2 amp backup just in case. Also, it does a great job mulching . No clumping and leaving plies of mulch around that needs to be cleaned up. I am very happy with this mower. I have the backpack blower and the tiller on the 60 volt system as well. All three are excellent and I plan on adding more soon. If you have small patches of grass in different spots around your yard this might be one of the best options for you.
