Solid but not as good as gas mower

I like that it's cordless electric and that it uses the same batteries as my weed wacker and leaf blower. Seems well made; build quality is good. I like how comparatively quiet it is. I like that you can fold and stand it upright for storage. The cut just isn't the same, it cuts unevenly and misses sections altogether. My guess is it isn't rotating as fast as a gas mower. I will keep using it as it is a better alternative.

Hello WI Dad Bod,

Thank you for your honest feedback. We are glad to hear you are enjoying the product, sorry to hear about the cut! Streaking is when thin strips of uncut grass are left behind the mower. Uneven cuts or missed section is usually caused by operator error or poor blade maintenance. Be sure that you are overlapping your rows enough to be sure that you get all of grass mowed in one pass. Also remember that when you are turning, it is easy to underestimate how much overlap you should do, so just overlap a little more than you would originally think you should.

Grass clippings can clog up your deck, be sure that your deck is clean to be sure this isn’t the culprit.

Another thing you can try is getting your blades sharpened and reinstalling them, or even getting new blades!

Hope this helps you take care of those pesky streaks!

It works amazingly well, starts easily, and runs quietly. The battery holds up well for a quarter acre lot.

BETTER THAN MY OLD 40V MODEL

Really happy with our new lawn mower, the cut is clean and the self propel feature helps a lot my wife, I am 53 and still can push it but some day I will need it too. This new house has a really big yard so the batteries run out before we finish - I am planning to buy another set to have them ready - highly recommended - very low noise.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I previously owned a 40v Greenworks unit. This 60v mower is much improved. It is more sturdily built and the battery charge is longer lasting. So far, I am very pleased.

Very Unhappy with Product

I bought this mower within 3 years ago and have had to replace the battery at least once.
Earlier today, while mowing, the entire housing attached to the blade broke off while I was mowing. I have a small yard and am not rough with it. With this light duty, I do not understand how the whole housing part would crack off!
Very disappointed with this mower! A mower should not break so quickly.

60v Wonder

Yes, I am a real person and this is an honest review on my new 60v buddy.
I decided to get rid of my gas powered lawnmower, so I started researching the battery powered mowers on the market.
I knew I needed a 21" mower, but my biggest concern was the battery power needed to finish my whole lawn.
Well, folks I am Soo happy I made the right choice.
This 60v model came with 2 - 4ah batteries, however, they are powerful enough that I only use one battery to do my whole lawn.
Wow, I am so happy. I have overall a little over 10,000 sq of land with approx. 7000 that is lawn.
I really expected to use both batteries since this is a self propelled mower. So thanks Green works for making a great product. Your product has solved my problem, and that makes me a happy camper. I have included a photo of my 60v buddy happily standing guard in my garage.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A solid machine

Surprisingly, a 5ah battery was enough for both my front and back lawn (1/3 acre). Later I tried it for taller and wet grass, but that took two batteries to get done. This struggles with wet grass a little more than my gas mower, but I shouldn't be cutting wet grass anyway so that's on me. A solid machine. I guess electric mowers are finally ready for prime time. (I installed the high-lift blade right away because the regular one was leaving single blades sticking up. Probably a good idea to put the high-lift blade on right away unless you REALLY need the extra battery life.)
I would recommend this to a friend!
