No hassle, no gas fumes...pull the handle and push a button...that is all it takes! Self-propelled feature is powerful - takes some getting used to, but is much appreciated.
Model 60LM25S is the 25" 60V with Two 5AH batteries. Only used twice so far! Super easy to assemble and operate. Large cut area shortens cut time, sell propelled makes the work a breeze. Reluctant to switch to electric...Now I question why it took me so long to make the switch. Minimal maintenance, no mess no fuss to set up! Time will tell if the mower / batteries hold up - mowing season after mowing season.
I've had the mower for about 2 months now and mowed a 1/2 dozen times. Bagged first time of the season and pickup of leaves/debris was good. I've been mulching since then. Other than when mulching, I haven't even had to switch to the 2nd battery. With mulching the 2nd battery kicked in to finish the last 2 passes. Charging is also much faster than I expected. Only complaint would be the battery door does not lock open when you install or take out the batteries, so you have to hold it.
Easy to assemble. Good instructions on adjustments and use. Cuts evenly inclu du big when the turbo kicks in. The vacuum tends to leave tree leaves behind. QUIET ! Vertical storage is a huge plus.
I love my new mower, very easy to operate and cuts the grass amazing, the 25 in deck has reduced my cutting time by 25%. Not having to pull start every time I empty my bag also saves me another 5%, so my total yard time has been reduced 30% or more. The only flaw maybe the self propel stop and reverse, an automatic reverse lever so you don’t have to pause and wait for the forward motion to disengage would really help. Thank you Greenworks for making this product. I love it!
I bought this because my other 40v twin blade Greenwoks mower finally seized a motor. I like the single blade option, and though the self propelled is nice, you really have to use it all the time because the mower is just too heavy to push. The motor is back wheel propelled which makes turning around much more difficult than a front wheel drive as you have to lift the back of the mower to make 90 degree turns instead of just tilting the front back with a simple push down on the handle, which is more natural. If you opt to disengage the self propelled, you need to wait 2 seconds as the wheel is “locked” while in self propelled settings and takes a moment to disengage. Also, it takes a while for the speed to resume back to full speed. Now to the batteries. My mowing time is exactly 60 minutes. With my other mower, I could do it all with two 4 amp batteries. Not even close with this mower. I needed to buy 2 6 amp batteries where I use about 3 total (2 6 amp and most of a 4 amp) to mow it all now. The original charger wouldn’t charge the 6 amp batteries, so I had to buy a new one. Other than that, it is quoted and cuts better than the twin blade. I know there are better 21” mowers, but I wanted to stay with this as I have other 40v GW products and don’t want to manage other proprietary batteries. Whatever you decide to get, make sure you build it around the batteries. Unfortunately with Greenworks, there are way too many battery types and configurations and nothing is really scalable. It’s also priced ok. Good for entry into the market and less than an hour of mow time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I used my mower for the first time a week ago and I could not believe how quiet it was! The ease of use was wonderful as well. I have a 2/3 acre yard, and was able to complete it in one charge!
