I love it, I love it! I don't even think of mowing as a chore anymore. So easy to start. So easy to maneuver. I bought the self-propelled feature, but I don't even use it. Cuts just as sharp and clean as my old gas mower. Don't know why I waited to make the switch.
Lots of nice features, only complaint is very poor quality mulching compared to my former gas mower! Also seems flimsy after a steel deck mower! Would trade even up for good used gas mulcher like my former Honda!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Awesome. Very easy to use, and cuts clean with plenty of battery life to do our front and back lawn. We have an array of 40v greenworks machinery, and this is our 1st step up to 60v. Night and day difference. Folds away neatly and easy to handle. To try and find any fault, I'd say the only thing is that it is heavy compared to the 40v.
This is a great mower and cuts very well. The controls are straightforward and easy to understand. The seat is very comfortable. The angled footrests and headlights are another nice feature. Above all, the best part is being able to take the batteries out to use in other tools (I have the 60V backpack blower). I've now cut my lawn around six times. My yard varies from moderately hilly to flat (3/4 acre). I can cut the lawn about 2.5 times on a single charge, and 40% of the time I'm driving at full speed/power. I have a small area that has a steep drop-off that I can cut going up or down with my previous Cub Cadet 54" zero-turn and the Greenworks zero-turn handles it just fine. The instant torque takes a bit of time to get used to, however, once you discover how easy it is to control the mower, you find that you get used to it.
The only improvement suggestions I have are as follows: 1) Since this is super quiet, you can hear the deck rattling around a lot. I'm sure my gas zero-turn did the same (but couldn't hear it over the engine noise), but having some type of dampers would help. 2) There is about a 5-second delay from turning the power on to when you can actually move forward. It would be nice to have a dedicated LED panel that tells you the drive status. 3) The throttle is very touchy and makes it hard to maneuver in tight spaces without crashing into objects. It would be nice to have a separate setting for less throttle input. I know there are high-speed and low-speed settings, but I'd like the throttle to be less senstive in certain situations, but not necessarily all the time. Being able to adjust this on-the-fly would be great.
I bought the grass catcher attachment, but I haven't used it yet. I plan to use it in the Fall.
Excellent mower with enough power for what you need, batteries last an hour for me, it’s enough to do half acre at once i had the 16 inch one, upgraded to this one, came with spare set of blades and was very easy to assemble. I’ve got all yard tools greenworks. You can’t go wrong with them
This thing is a beast. To be honest this is my first riding mower I’ve ever used, but I am so happy I went with the electric route. I live on a half acre, and this mower allows me to mow my full lawn twice per charge. This mower just powers through my thickest grass, even when still wet and/or damp. The batteries charge from totally empty to full in just a little over an hour, which is insanely fast in my opinion. A great perk to the electric riding mower is when the blades are not engaged, the tractor rides silent, making for very relaxing yard work sessions, and makes hauling yard waste/materials a breeze. If you’re on the fence, go ahead and get this GreenWorks Mower, you will not be disappointed.
