I wanted so badly to like this lawnmower since I already have the Blower and Weedeater and love them. This summer I finally made the switch to the electric lawnmower with high hopes, but have been disappointed. I had new Zoysia sod laid back in March/April and it has been growing very well, enough where I have to mow twice a week. However, even with raising the deck, the lawn mower still gets caught up and shuts off. I've tried bagging, mulching and exiting and I have the same problem. Super frustrating as I've never had this issue with my gas mowers. Regret.
Pros: Easy to Use, Quiet

It sounds like you will need to contact us directly through chatbot on www.greenworkstools.com that will direct you to a live agent or call us on Greenworks Pro toll-free helpline at 1-855-345-3934. I bought a self-propelled model and the self-propel didn't work. Greenworks will not take my lawnmower back but want to send me another one, minus the batteries and charger, which is the whole cost of the mower. I requested to return the batteries I had to them, but they don't listen and want to send me another lawn mower. Now I'm stuck with a non-functioning lawn mower in my garage that I will have to pay to have taken to the landfill, along with 2 giant boxes to dispose of. I am 73 years old and don't want to deal with any of these issues. I don't know why their customer service does not listen to me and do what is right. I am very disappointed in this experience. They told me it's not returnable because I used it for 5 minutes. What kind of warranty is that?

Dear ii50,
Thank you for taking the time to voice your concerns! Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you have experienced an issue with this product and that you were unsatisfied with the customer service experience that you had. There are some points that you have mentioned that we would like to address. Firstly, we only accept returns and refunds for new and unused products, in original packaging. All returns must be in the original packaging and contain all original components. Without all the original components, including manuals, nuts, and bolts etc., the return will not be accepted. This information can be found under our return policy. We have shared a direct link to our Return and Warranty Policy for your reference.
Secondly, we see that you have been in touch and our Experience team have replaced the unit with a tool only version (battery and charger not included) as the issue was with the lawn mower and not the battery or charger. This unit includes a 4-year repair warranty only. In some cases, when a product is damaged or defective, we will arrange to have the unit picked up and returned to our warehouse (at not cost to the customer) so that the issue(s) can be diagnosed, and improvements can be made for moving forward. At this time this was not the case for your issue.

This is the 3rd year of owning this unit. It does a very good job on my yard which is level and about 30' by 40' on the front and 25' by 30' on the back yard. The grass is mostly Floratam (centipede variant) and some sections have Bermuda grass. The 25" cutting swath allows you to put the wheels on the edge of the last cut and still have good coverage. It is definitely noticeable in the amount of time to cut the yard over a 21" or 22" mower. Here are what I consider pros and cons. Pro: Quiet, good cutting, good run time with the two 4.0 ah batteries and the most important has been the reliability I have had with this mower. Con: The slowest self propelled speed should be slightly slower. The adjustable handlebar height should have a little more options on height adjustment. The unit has back wheel drive and so that tends to allow the front to raise right as you start as the unit appears to be heavier on the back side. Lastly, it would help in weight distribution and also turning ability to have castering wheels on the front.
I talked to a neighbor into buying one after letting him borrow mine. He had two units that had problems but customer service definitely took care of him. This 3rd unit has been owned for a year is performing like mine
I love this mower for the features it doesn't have: no gas tank, no oil, no spark plug, no carburetor, no pull rope. As far as I can tell it is maintenance free, except for cleaning. No waiting for engine to cool before cleaning with hose. Just flip it over in any position to hose down without any fluid leakage. Has more power than my Honda GSV 190 mower. With self propulsion at full speed, you would almost have to jog to keep up. The only adjustment is the very easy height adjustment that is done with one for all four wheels. After using this mower, I would never consider going back to gasoline engine. BUY IT
If you have a small lot to mow and limited space to store a mower, this is the lawn mower for you. I have been using for two years now and it has performed flawlessly even cutting very high grass. I use the mulch plug and it chops the cuttings into a fine mulch to fertilize the lawn. I can get two mowings on a 5amp battery before I need to charge. I am waiting for a replacement blade which has been out of stock for some time.
I bought the zero turn back in April 2023. I had ankle surgery in March and by the time I was able to get out a little bit. This has save me a lot of aggravation. I have 2 acres and my garden is far away. Not being able to walk good. I park my mower I garage . I use it like a motorized wheel chair every day. The front hitch is great. I have a trailer hooked up. I can drive around , pick up sticks or cut low branches and put in trailer . Since my garden so far from water outlet. I put barrel on trailer. Use my 60 v greenwork inverter. Small pump plugged in. I can spray flowers and vegetables within an hour. Saving me from having to walk. Totally satisfied with all my greenwork products
Pros: Cost-Saver, Easy to Use, Quiet, Durable, Environmentally Safe
Be Aware: Stated "Expert Setup" is not Provided. See attached screen shot. A pallet is delivered by FedEx, but GreenWorks does not actually provide Expert Setup of the hardware. You will need to build the unit yourself. This is un-ethical marketing.

Dear JStan,
Thank you for taking the time to voice your concerns! We are sorry if it seems the information was hidden or that you may have been confusion by the description while purchasing the lawn mower. This is not our intention. Greenworks CRT/CRZ units do not arrive fully assembled. Greenworks does offer the "White Glove" service at an extra cost and must be purchased at time of ordering the unit.
White Glove Service provides the follow:
Delivery to customer's driveway or garage (not stairs). Preassembled (unpack, debris removal, and assembly in hub).
Estimated delivery time: 3-6 business days (rural areas may take longer). Drop off time: 30mins.
It's worth noting assembly is quite simple and can take up to 120 minutes to complete. Here are a few YouTube videos for reference.

This is the middle of my third season with the pro 60 volt, 21 inch mower. I actually stopped in the middle of mowing to write this because it is so aggravating. I like the convenience of the electric mower. I already had the 60v string trimmer and the 60v leaf blower which influenced me to buy the Greenworks mower. Both of those tools are great. The mower however, has some issues. The first one I encountered was the height adjuster not holding. I tried, unsuccessfully, to secure it but now I just keep checking that it hasn't dropped because it scalps the lawn badly when that happens (more than once a season). The really stupid problem though, is they put a 21 inch deck on a 20 inch cut. I.E. the deck is too wide for the blade. All this does is make it impossible to get close to obstacles. The funny/deceitful part is they boast in big bold letters; "21 inch deck"! I guess they think no one will ever notice that it's really a 20 inch mower. False advertising?
Pros: Convenient, Quiet, Durable
