I bought this saw to help cut some tree limbs. After an hour his gas saw was done, couldn't get through the freak limbs. My electric saw was still going without any problem. Yes I did have to let it cool off once but the chain stayed sharp enough to finish the job!
I have many gas chainsaws. Got this electric one for light limbing and pleasantly surprised at how good it works. I used it for fifteen minutes and it cut well
i bought this saw a couple months ago and have been using it to clear trees from my property. I have a gas chainsaw, but the Greenworks saw outperforms by a longshot! Easy to use, easy to maintain! Cuts ALL trees, big and small! I am so glad I invested in it!
I have had the saw a bit over a month now and am truly impressed. Everything about the saw - battery life, performance and ease of use exceeds my high expectations. The first saw I received had an oil leak, but they replaced it immediately. I am VERY pleased.
I love this chain saw and my other Greenworks products. I also have ave a leaf blower, string line trimmer and tiller attachment. No more throwing my shoulder out trying to start the gas powered tools. The battery powered tools are even more powerful than gas ones. Im very pleased and would recommend Geenworks products to everyone.
I got this after having an amazing experience with my Greenworks 60V Pole Saw. The 80V Pole Saw has an extra foot of reach (9 feet), and extra power. This has worked amazingly when dealing with dry, dead branches. Moving from hard woods to dead palm fronds, this saw cuts like a warm knife through butter. It is also quite easy to use, and my neighbors have benefited from both the quietness of the tool, and also from my volunteering to help them with trimming their trees. As an added bonus, it is extremely to break it down to fit in a truck bed or car trunk; loosening a couple of nuts with the included tool and the saw folds up into small sections. I love this tool, and anybody in my neighborhood just needs to ask and I'll gladly help trim your trees for you!
A friend of mine bought me the 18" Pro 80V Cordless Chainsaw as a 'relief' gift when we were hit with Hurricane Laura in late August. It took out 10+ very tall trees in our yard. This chainsaw was a Godsend! It cut through the trunks like they were butter, held it's charge for a good amount of time and the rapid charger charged in about the amount of time it took me to rest. I would highly recommend to the novice (like me) or a pro. Good sharp chain too.
