I bought this as an occasional chainsaw user…I would always have trouble starting up the gas units after sitting for weeks or months when not needed…this is a breeze charge up the battery pop it in and go…all my newer equipment for yard works has changed to battery operated for this reason…the 80v 18” chainsaw is really top notch at trimming branches or cutting down a big ole tree my first project was to cut down a 16” tree and it performed great and then chopped it up into smaller pieces great experience 100% would recommend
I would recommend this to a friend!

I'm a retired old lady and needed an easy snd simple chainsaw. I love this thing. No gas or oil to fool with. It has plenty of power.

The speed and reach of the saw is great for pruning. And the balance is quite good when the battery is installed. Easy to adjust chain tension

Plenty of zip on the chain speed with 80V running a small 10" bar, so the cutting power is excellent. Definitely helped clear out the lower brushy trees, which the biggest thing is it will cut down on the number of trees I need to climb to limb up for fire safety around the house. Less time climbing trees is a win in my book (inverse relationship to 10 year old me).
I would recommend this to a friend!

Purchased my 18" chainsaw a couple of years ago. Works great. I use it at the hunting club property and at home. Would recommend to everyone if looking to purchase battery operated chainsaw. Also have one of the 40v chainsaws and I recommend it also.
