Out performs expectations and is extremely user friendly. The saw is easy to operate, reliable and out performs a gas operated saw. I have purchased other Greenworks tools and the products are high quality and all perform as marketed. These are the go-to tolls for today's do it yourself home owners.

We purchased this 18" cordless electric chainsaw after using a 16" chainsaw and a 10" polesaw manufactured by Greenworks. Although the chainsaw we purchased is larger, it is every bit as quiet, efficient, and easy to handle as the two smaller electric saws. The need for a cordless power tool is pretty obvious, but switching from gas- to electric-power makes very good sense for working outdoors in the tinder-dry Western US: We don't want to be the ones who start a forest fire. Also, and most personally important to us, is the incredible power of this tool. We both have damaged our hands and wrists over the decades with tough outdoor work on farms, ranches, woodlands, and foreign wars. This chainsaw has all the power we need, without the bucking, kickback, or resistance of old-fashioned gas-powered chainsaws. Cutting logs is almost as easy as slicing bread with this saw. Love it!

I got this last Christmas from my wife and daughter to work on the family farm. Many miles of jeep roads always needing to be cleared . This quiet powerful saw has never let me down.

I’ve been using this chainsaw for a few weeks now and have been very pleased. I have two acres and have used it to take down small trees and some pines that were damaged or killed during hurricane Micheal three years ago. It’s powerful and gets the job done. I would recommend two batteries for anything more than an acre.

I love this chainsaw! I already had 2 80v batteries, as I have a Greenworks snow thrower, which I love also. So ordering the tool only, was perfect for me. I am a 65 year old female, 5'1", and 100 lbs. This chainsaw is light enough that I can use it with ease. No gas to mix, and no struggling with a pull cord to get is started. I have cut logs up to 8", with no problem. The 18" blade is a big plus also. All around a great tool to have! I love my Greenworks products!

This saw eats trees! I am so happy with the performance and how quiet it is. I cycle through three batteries and never have to stop. The only nitpicking "issue" is the string that holds the oil cap. It is too long/flimsy and is annoying to get back into the oil reservoir. My mother-in-law even took it for a spin and loved it!
