My 80 volt chainsaw has cut enough wood to provide most of my heat for 2 years plus. I've also used it to create 8 to 10' x 6" & larger beams of oak & poplar. I bought the mower too for the larger battery, also the string trimmer & pole pruner. I've been happy with all tools & wouldn't consider trading them for gas. I love pushing a button & getting to work & storing them wherever I want.
My 60 volt saw wprked fine , for two days as I bucked up a small oak tree, Then it started shutting down . I checked chain tightness , oil , safety shut off and changed battery's twicw . it still will not run properly. I have not had time to look deeper i to problem. scs

I recently purchased this chainsaw when the body of my previous corded chainsaw cracked. In the short time I used it I have cut and split about a 1/2 cord of wood mainly sweetgum but some oak as well. The saw has held up well and I had no issues with it. I was very happy with the battery life on the saw as I was expecting to have to change batteries fairly often but that was not the case. I did not have to change them once during any of my cutting sessions. One of the things I really like is I can take this anywhere without dragging a cord around and its it quite. The only change i would like is to lengthen that amount of time it takes before the saw shuts off and you have to press the power on button again. Its a quick press but still a little annoying when you have the saw positioned but you have to turn it back on to proceed. Regardless I would recommend this saw.
The chain keeps falling off why am I doing something wrong
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello B chase,
Thank you for your feedback! Chains stretch with use. When new, they stretch more. The tension on a new or newish chain should be checked and tightened every 20 minutes of cutting or so, it can get away from you fast. This is normal stretching. Tension techniques can be found in the owner's manual. If you require additional assistance, please contact us directly at 1-888-909-6757 and we will provide an instructional guide to help you navigate the tension on your chain. We look forward to speaking to you.
Had a dead tree to fell but was concerned about going electric. This Chain Saw worked great and had enough battery for the complete job. Gave 4 stars only because it didn't come with chain oil, so I had to make a separate run to buy some before using. Otherwise, as advertised and worked well.
Don’t be fooled by its size. This is a compact power house. Strong cutting capacity which is equal to if not surpasses some compatible gas chainsaws. 80 V all the way.
